Daniel Sullivan, MD. grew up in Goshen, Indiana. He served in the U.S. Navy and attended Indiana University.

He lived and practiced family medicine in Toledo, Ohio. Subsequently, he traveled and worked as a bushdoctor in the outback of Australia, relieved family doctors in Ohio, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri. He worked for the Indian Health Service on multiple reservations through the AMA's Project USA program.

Previous books include Rhymes of a Family Doctor, The Power of a Positive Rhyme, and a novel, Ripples in the Wind. Texas Indiana II is his latest book.

Presently, Dr. Sullivan lives in Chesterfield, Missouri with his wife, Mary. He works for St. Luke's Hospital in an urgent care center. He belongs to the St. Louis Poetry Society and continues to write.
